In this update, I am working on my task of building the prototype of the swing barrier. In this task, my planned is to create a 3d modeling of how the gantry will be like before building the actual product. The software that I will be using is TinkerCAD to create a 3d model.

There were many consideration for the building due to lack of materials and budget constraints.
Firstly, I had thoughts of using this board as the swing barrier. The gears attached to spin the steel rod.
Due to space constraints, the idea of using this board was abandon. I wasn't able place to the larger motor on this board. The motor wasn't able to turn due to lack of power from the DRV8847 Dual H-Bridge Motor Driver.

Meanwhile coding on the motor driver, we have decided to use a board and manually build the structure of the prototype. A little sneak peek on what I am working on too! Stay tune for the next update!
